IT END USER SERVICES MANAGER | Permanent, Full-time, Commencing ASAP

The opportunity

The Information Technology Services (ITS) team manages and supports the College’s IT infrastructure. Within that, IT Operations provides support services to staff, students and parents, answering questions and dealing with issues to enable continuous access to and effective use of ICT resources. An opportunity has arisen for a permanent, full-time IT End User Services Manager to join the team, as soon as possible. If you are a confident, self-starter with strong leadership skills and thrive on the challenges in the technological world, we would love to hear from you!

About you

You are a confident self-starter who will enjoy building relationships with multiple stakeholders both inside and outside of the College. With excellent communication skills, you have a strong customer-service focus and can be relied upon to work autonomously and lead a small team of Technicians. In addition, you will also:

  • Have sound knowledge of computer operating systems and software (Windows, MacOS, iOS, Office 365) and willingness to learn new systems and software
  • Demonstrate experience of hardware repair and fault diagnosis
  • Demonstrate a passion for collaborative working as a member of a high-functioning team, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
  • Experience in managing and meeting KPI’s individually and in a team setting 
  • Possess excellent communications skills both written and verbal, and time management skills
  • Be able to think critically, analyse situations and implement solutions 
  • Commit to the safeguarding and promotion of student welfare
  • Be reliable and punctual
  • Support Radford’s strategic priorities and goals
  • Uphold Radford’s Values of Truth, Compassion and Wisdom
  • Tertiary qualifications in an IT related field are desirable. 


Qualifications

  • At least 2 years’ experience leading customer facing Technical Team, either as Manager, Team Leader or similar 
  • Relevant experience or qualifications in IT Service Management (ITSM)/ITIL
