With over two decades of experience in the industry, our client is a well-known market leading company known both locally and internationally. Due to continuous growth and success, we are seeking a Field Service Technician.
This role revolves around travelling to work sites to complete maintenance services and repairs to both technology and hardware equipment, whilst also ensuring that everything is effectively tracked and documented.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with networks, switches and routers.
- Regular on-site visits to sites across Queensland
- Assist in the field survey and inspection to determine the site status prior to equipment installation.
- Installing and testing all IT devices onsite
- Troubleshooting, fault finding and replacing defective equipment as part of life cycle management.
- Maintain provided tools required and report on any damages or losses.
- Working Technical vendors and IT
- Provide support to end users on site.
The successful candidate will ideally have 1-5 years’ experience in dealing with a broad range of stakeholders, be a natural problem solver have experience in networks, routers, hardware, software and general IT problem solving.
