Doltone House venues and catering collection is a leader in the events industry across NSW, with 6 venues each with multiple event spaces with fully purposed onsite catering. We are renowned for consistency of quality and experience in our offering. We are currently recruiting for an IT Manager to join our offices in Pyrmont.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain overall IT architecture, defining standards and protocols for data exchange, communications, software, and interconnection of IT systems
- Manage IT infrastructure to consolidate services, reduce costs and improve services.
- Manage IT security policies, processes, documentation and compliance
- IT project management across the company that aligns with the strategic priorities of Doltone House
- Procurement of IT equipment in accordance with Doltone House procurement policy
- Management and deployment of all IT hardware to team members as per policy
- Designing and delivering IT training programs and workshops for all staff
- Managing and maintaining strong relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders including (but not limited to) internet connectivity, telephony, Audio-Visual, POS, Printers, CCTV.
- Provide support to the Marketing Team in relation to internet properties (domain names, web hosting etc.)
- Provide regular reporting for the Leadership and Executive Teams
Technical Knowledge
- Technical understanding and knowledge of Microsoft environment (incl Microsoft 365, SQL, AD, Application servers, Exchange)
- Demonstrated depth of technical understanding and knowledge of PC hardware/software in networked corporate based environments, peripherals, PC operating systems and a range of application software.
- Understanding of business applications, accounting software and ERP systems
- Understanding of Apple Macs desirable (but not essential) an advantage
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
- Ability to prioritise work/work schedules, ensure jobs are completed on or before deadline.
- Excellent attention to detail
- Strong oral, written communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment and capacity to deliver quality assistance
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
