Reporting to the IT Manager, the IT Officer will ensure a prompt resolution to IT and communications system errors as well as completing the day-to-day IT administration tasks. Tasks may be directed by the IT Manager or may be received directly from users, through help desk or through the IT ticketing system.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Initial point of support/help desk to fix technical and IT problems as they arise.
- Domain User and Microsoft 365 administration including creating new profiles and password resets.
- IT Hardware administration and reporting.
- Set up and manage desk phones.
- Managing stock levels of basic IT accessories (mice/keyboards etc).
- Track, manage and document problem and fault remediation work.
- Drive a culture of high performance aligned to the company Values.
- Drive a safe and inclusive work environment whereby reasonable and proportionate measures are taken to eliminate unlawful behaviour occurring in the workplace.
You will have experience in the following:
- IT Service Desk experience desirable.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
- Ability to manage and maintain accurate system documentation.
- Strong investigative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritise a wide range of tasks to provide the most effective IT Support Service.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Highly articulate professional with well-developed interpersonal, communication, influencing and relationship building skills.
