The Role

The Town of Port Hedland is inviting passionate and skilled individuals to apply for the remote working position of IT Officer (within WA) on a 2 year fixed-term contract, reporting directly to the Senior IT Officer. As the frontline for IT support services in a remote setting, you will play a pivotal role in providing technical expertise to our employees and esteemed Elected Members. Work Related Requirements
- Diploma or higher in Information Technology or related discipline
- WHS approved ergonomic workstation
- A private, quiet and secure work environment
- Availability to attend and work in Port Hedland for an initial 4-week induction period
- Availability on occasion to travel to Port Hedland (flights and accommodation provided by the Town)
- National Police Clearance
- Current 'C' class drivers license
- Rights to work in Australia
