Role will cover:
- Troubleshooting IT issues faced by employees
- Research and offering advice on IT decisions (security risks, software and hardware procurement)
- Interacting with hardware and software vendors
- Maintenance, upkeep and (where applicable) end-user support for:
- Microsoft 365
- Windows 10/11 Environment
- Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP/DNS, File Server, Print Server etc)
- VMware ESXi
- 3CX Phone System
- WatchGuard Firewalls
- WordPress Websites
- Printers
- Engineering software
- Writing IT documentation
- Whilst practicing good cyber-security hygiene and encouraging others to do the same
- Ability to install new hardware and software
- Ability to create new users and help end users with IT issues
- Ability to determine errors and recommend solution
- Tracking warranties & licences
- Occasional adhoc support after hours/ weekends when hardware change out or shutdowns are scheduled
