Ict Support Officer

• Happy to work with Marketing team on updating promotional material in Indesign when there are no IT jobs
• Good written, interpersonal & communication skills
• Strong time management & autonomous work style
• Utmost honesty and respect for confidentiality

Role will cover:

1. Troubleshooting IT issues faced by employees
2. Research and offering advice on IT decisions (security risks, software and hardware procurement)
3. Interacting with hardware and software vendors
4. Maintenance, upkeep and (where applicable) end-user support for:
   1. Microsoft 365
   2. Windows 10/11 Environment
   3. Windows Server (Active Directory, Group Policy, DHCP/DNS, File Server, Print Server etc)
   4. VMware ESXi
   5. 3CX Phone System
   6. WatchGuard Firewalls
   7. WordPress Websites
   8. Printers
   9. Engineering software 
5. Writing IT documentation
6. Whilst practicing good cyber-security hygiene and encouraging others to do the same
7. Ability to install new hardware and software
8. Ability to create new users and help end users with IT issues
9. Ability to determine errors and recommend solution
10. Tracking warranties & licences
11. Occasional adhoc support after hours/ weekends when hardware change out or shutdowns are scheduled
