QLD state government organisation are seeking multiple IT Project Coordinators

Your new company 

A leading and crucial QLD state government organisation are seeking multiple IT Project Coordinators to work on the rollout of a state-wide SAP based workforce management program. This is to be used across the entirety of Queensland and will see you be based in either Townsville or Mackay.  

Your new role 

Established many years ago to service the needs of Queenslanders throughout the state from Coolangatta to the Torres Strait, this Brisbane headquartered organisation are undergoing several SAP based transformations. To assist them in these, they are expanding their state wide team to hire professionals in several regions to help and assist local sites during this technical transition whilst liaising with counterparts across the state (with travel if/when required).

Working within the Corporate Enterprise Solutions directorate and reporting to the Brisbane based Program Manager, you will work as part of the state-wide multi-disciplined Integrated Workforce Management team who are responsible for the successful rollout of SAP S/4HANA across localised regions.

Your duties on this program will encompass a range of responsibilities which are all aimed at ensuring the smooth running of each stage of the project such that major milestones are achieved. To do this, you will conduct a variety of tasks such as governance, reporting, data integrity, facilitating meetings and workshops, action tracking, documentation configuration, project deadline management and risk identification. Not just limited to back-office tasks, you will also engage with high level stakeholders across the organization, manage external parties (vendors, suppliers etc), partake in cross departmental meetings and have a major impact on the direction of each stage of the program.

What you'll need to succeed 

For this role you will need experience across the following:

• Data integrity and reporting
• Technical documentation
• Working in a project focused environment (with project management exposure a bonus)
• Risk Management
• Change and business analytics
• Roadmap planning and execution
• Supplier/vendor/MSP management and liaison 
• SAP and its ecosystem (S/4HANA, etc) advantageous
• Government (and health experience) advantageous
• Clear spoken and written communication skills
• Full Australian working rights

What you'll get in return 

You will be offered an initial fixed term contract until the 30th of June 2024 with a leading and crucial state government organisation. This is to be based in Townville or Mackay paying in line with AO5 (circa $105,000 - $110,000 base plus 12.75% super).
