Hays is currently working with an established organisation in Newcastle, NSW looking for a skilled Project Support Officer / Project Coordinator to join their team.
Your new role
In this role, you will assist with delivery coordination, providing essential information to support planning, design, implementation, and tracking. You’ll organise and support delivery meetings, presentations, and relevant activities, drafting meeting papers, presentations, reports, and other necessary documentation. Additionally, you’ll administer, manage, and support project delivery tools and systems, monitor and report on delivery risks and cost plans, and maintain a comprehensive risk register.
Your responsibilities will also include coordinating documentation and reports, such as finance and forecasting reports, status updates, and compliance reports.
What you'll need to succeed
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in project management, business administration, or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with risk management practices.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Proficiency in project management tools and systems will be highly regarded.
What you'll get in return
