What You Will Be Doing
This position is responsible for providing the initial point of contact for users submitting an incident or request for service to the IT Service Desk.
As a committed team member, the Service Desk Officer will provide first-level support and maintenance of the computer, peripheral equipment and application environment by analysing, troubleshooting and resolving requests to meet KPIs and SLAs.
Where resolution of requests on first contact is not possible, the Service Desk Officer will escalate as appropriate.
What You Need
We anticipate you will have:
Extensive knowledge and experience with Windows Operating Systems
Excellent knowledge and experience of Microsoft Office (including 365) product suite and desktop applications software
Excellent knowledge and experience in User Provisioning (MS Active Directory / MS Exchange)
Experience working in an ITIL-based service delivery environment
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of specialised applications used within a Health Services Sector
