Our Client, an independent self funded Federal Government entity is seeking an IT Service Desk Technical Consultant to play a critical role in day-to-day activities of a team of Technical Consultants.
Ideal candidates will have the following skills:
- Be responsible for investigation and resolution of complex technical casework, which can require detailed analysis.
- Be an escalation point within the team for any Incidents and Service Requests, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Exceptional customer service skills who is a vocal and active participant in driving positive process and customer service changes in the team.
- Maintain a real-time awareness of current and re-occurring Incidents and report them as potential Problems with the Team Leader.
- Contribute to the Problem Management process by investigating complex issues and contribute to Incident Management communications between users and tier 3 technical support.
- Maintain and promote a high degree of accuracy and updates within case records, asset register.
