We’re looking for a strong IT Support Engineer to join our growing team.
What will you do?
As an IT Support Engineer you will provide critical IT support and operations capabilities to the business. This is a senior role, with plenty of variety, you will have an opportunity to shape our IT support and operations functions whilst also working on interesting business and technology projects.
Here’s a summary of what you will be doing:
- · Provide frontline support for user and endpoint technology issues.
- · Deliver and manage end-user hardware, software, and services.
- · Support and manage a range of common M365 services.
- · Support cybersecurity alert and incident management.
- · Monitor our systems and respond to system incidents.
- · Support IT service request, incident, asset management.
- · Perform basic cloud (80% AWS / 20% Azure) administration.
- · Provide basic network (firewall, switch, and AP) management.
- · Helping to improve IT operations through automation / processes.
- · Support and contribute to a range of business and IT projects.
What will you bring?
We’re looking for a talented engineer with solid skills and experience who can deliver value quickly, however we are not expecting you to “tick all the boxes”. A successful applicant can expect close support from our existing team to build skills in areas that you may have limited experience with.
Here’s some of the things we’re looking for:
- · 5 years of applicable industry experience.
- · Relevant technical, operations, security certifications.
- · Strong M365, Entra ID, Intune skills.
- · Strong ITSM, service desk and desktop support skills.
- · Strong end-user device / printer management skills.
- · Basic AWS and Azure cloud administration skills.
- · Basic networking and infrastructure support skills.
- · A friendly, relaxed person who enjoys working with teams.
- · Willingness to work slightly staggered business hours (+/- 1 hour).
- · Ability to be flexible working on new projects and technologies.
- · A desire to learn new skills across different technologies / disciplines.
- · Occasional travel to local / national Cannatrek sites if required.
