About the role
Due to continued growth of our business we are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive IT Support Officer to provide first level support for all Information and Communication Technology (ICT) related incidents in a fast paced and dynamic environment. The key responsibilities will include:
- Prioritising, diagnosing, and resolving ICT support requests via phone, email, and in person.
- Proactively providing incident resolution and service request management for applications, software, hardware, and network systems including user administration.
- Effectively managing and prioritising incidents and service request information.
- Facilitating the acquisition and installation of hardware and software for staff.
- Updating and maintaining the asset recording software.
- Monitoring and proactively maintaining software, hardware, and network systems.
- Visit company site offices to resolve ICT incidents and review ICT needs.

Skills and experience
This role requires previous experience working in an IT Support/Service Desk role. In addition, you will also have the following characteristics:
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Windows operation systems and Microsoft Office 365 administration and desktop products
- Experience in local network troubleshooting as well as remote office network troubleshooting via VPN
- Experience in virtualized server environments
- Strong customer service and well-developed work ethic.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- A can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities while working within a team.
- Excellent time management and able to work autonomously with limited supervision.
- Attention to detail.
