It Support Officer

We currently have a unique opportunity at our head office for a professional and proactive Support Officer to join our Information Systems team. We are seeking someone who can hit the ground running with exceptional internal customer service skills and problem-solving abilities.

The Role:

• Providing a first point of contact for all new and existing ICT support issues.
• Provide 1st level technical support to our clients across Australia and NZ
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues over the phone and in person;
• Maintaining all case/issue history within our helpdesk ticketing system.
• Resolving  issues with company hardware such as desktops, mobile phones, tablets, printers, scanners, etc;
• Assist with implementing network infrastructure and systems to support company objectives; maintain network security and data integrity
• Assist in the implementation of policies and processes eg: Change Management to ensure the highest quality overall systems and user experience

Who are you? 

The ideal candidate should possess:

• A tertiary degree in an IT discipline
• Knowledge of LAN/WAN/Firewall concepts
• Experience in Sophos and Antivirus
• Knowledge of and/or experience in Microsoft Windows 10,11
• Knowledge of and/or experience in Novell (OpenText) /Linux will be highly regarded
• Minimum 3 years’ experience covering IT functions in a multi-site, diverse organisation
• A self-starter and able to work effectively in a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive and professional approach to work
• Strong written, verbal communication and documentation skills
• Exceptional customer service skills
