Mitolo Family Farms are recruiting for an experienced Senior IT Service Desk Officer looking to take the next step in their career and move into a Team Leadership position. A strong team player who is looking to keep their hands on the tools whilst leading a team in the delivery of IT services
Reporting to the Head of IT, this position of IT Support Team Leader is a key member of the IT team supporting the Mitolo Family Farms business across production, farms, and back-office operations. This role will give you an opportunity to further develop your IT and leadership skills alongside a team who are experienced and skilled in their profession.
This position would suit an experienced IT Support Officer looking to take the next step in their career and lead a team whilst maintaining a hands-on approach.
You will be responsible for the day-to-day support of Mitolo’s 800+ staff, across 6 sites in South Australia and New South Wales. You will work with our Managed Services Provider to deliver an exceptional service. In the provision of fresh produce to Australia, quality is king. Our IT team believes the same is true in delivery of IT and this role plays a critical part in delivering on that vision.
Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Lead a team of internal and third-party service providers in delivering a high-quality IT service desk
- Align our service delivery with ITIL practices
- Develop a vision for the best use of our IT Service Desk platform and driving the changes required to realise this vision
- Lead and grow our IT Support Team in line with the organisations culture and goals and the aspirations of the IT Support Team members
- Measure the performance of the IT support desk to inform a program of continuous improvement regarding delivery of services
- Drive a proactive approach to addressing cyber security risks in the organisation to ensure MFF can operate effectively and safely.
- Ensure Health and Safety in all forms is supported and embedded within your own thinking and the team’s.
Our ideal candidate would have:
- Minimum 3 years of delivering high quality IT support in a commercial setting, preferably a multi-site organisation in the food production or manufacturing domain, with 100 plus end users
- Proven ability to prioritise workload and ensure close alignment with business priorities
- Proven ability to troubleshoot technical and / or user related issues to determine an effective resolution
- An understanding of network hardware switches, routers and firewalls
- Experience working in an O365 environment
- Experience working with an ERP
- Ability to learn new hardware systems and software applications
- A passionate approach to delivering IT services
- Ability to mentor team members
- Strong written and oral communication skills together
- Strong team player with a customer service focus
