About the Role:
The IT Systems Administrator works across our multiple sites at Mount Waverley and Dandenong South and is responsible for the ongoing availability, resilience, monitoring, administration, maintenance and helpdesk support of Southern Impact’s ICT infrastructure and business systems in conjunction with our MSP (Managed Service Provider).
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, assign, and manage ICT Helpdesk Tickets.
- Prioritize and complete daily support tasks across multiple categories.
- Delegate ICT support requests to the Managed Service Provider (MSP).
- Administer Southern Impact's network, including LAN, SAN, WAN, and WLAN.
- Support and monitor hyperconverged infrastructure, including VMware vCenter and SAN Storage.
- Maintain on-premise Active Directory and Microsoft 365 AD Sync.
- Handle staff onboarding/offboarding administration, including network access provisioning.
- Monitor and deploy backup routines for critical business infrastructure.
- Manage and update Southern Impact's ICT Asset Register and software licensing requirements.
- Administer SSL certificate compliance and renewal records.
- Administration of ISMS and Risk Management control documentation in accordance with our Policy Framework.
- Conduct vulnerability scans and penetration testing of our network perimeter and endpoints.
- Coordinate ICT hardware and software purchasing with vendors and MSP.
- Manage asset decommissioning and e-waste disposal, in compliance with security standards.
- Participate in and document change management processes.
- Provide training and support to end users, including cybersecurity awareness.
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology or equivalent is an advantage.
- Preferably 2 to 3-year work experience in similar positions.
- Must have VMware Professional Certification.
- ITIL 4 Foundation certification is an advantage.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Fundamentals is an advantage.
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals is an advantage.
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification is desirable.
