AddressTranTech Computers is a Mackay based IT Services company that provides technical support, products, and expertise in our local Mackay and Whitsunday region. We are a growing band of 11 IT techs who take care of a large client base – and truly love what we do.
We’re on the lookout for an IT Systems Manager in Mackay to help support our loyal client base. The ideal candidate will take pride in their work.
More about the role
You’ll be providing:
> Onsite and remote support – including troubleshooting technical issues over the phone with clients (using remote tools when necessary)
> Tech services – such as system rollouts, working on resolutions for installing and supporting various operating systems and any other forms of server hardware and software.
> Provide guidance and solutions for system integrity – ensuring backup procedures and security are of upmost importance.
> Planning and developing strategies for our varying client’s IT needs and having good communication skills to draw the team together in providing the best outcome for the client.
> Friendly customer service – including an unwitting ability to be empathetic and positive towards your clients, without dropping your amazingly professional attitude
Experience with the following technologies is beneficial:
> Windows Server
> Office 365
> Azure
> Dropbox / SharePoint
> Hosted PBX / VoIP
> All forms of Desktop Support Windows 10,11

> Previous tech support experience;
> Proven customer service experience and a drive to help people
> Strong written and verbal communication skills
> Ability to pick up new technologies and learn new systems quickly
> Ability to relay technical terminology to non-technical people
> Ability to work both independently and within a team
> A current Australian Driver’s Licence
