Role Overview
As the IT Systems Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the continuous delivery of the business systems and communication applications. You will lead the information technology and security functions at an enterprise level, fostering relationships with internal stakeholders and external technology partners. We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Systems Manager who can oversee and ensure the secure, effective, and efficient operation of our computing systems and equipment.
This position is permanent full-time and is based on-site in Brisbane.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain strong relationships with funds service providers.
- Monitor service level agreements with funds service providers to ensure the continuous delivery of business services, including performance, availability, and capacity of IT systems.
- Understand the funds obligations under CPS234 Information Security and other information technology obligations.
- Prepare and present operational reports for the board, management, advisory committees, and internal working groups as required.
- Be accountable for cybersecurity, with a focus on simplifying and securing the technology portfolio of core systems and applications.
- Oversee the funds' IT budget expenditure, including hardware and software purchasing, providing input to the fund's executive as required.
- Maintain all technology located in the funds head office, including printer services, office access services and meeting technology.
- Manage employee information security training delivery and monitoring.
- Work closely with managers to ensure consistent fulfillment of IT needs.
Experience and Skills:
- 3+ years of leadership experience managing IT, business systems, infrastructure, and service delivery functions and services.
- Experience in change management and IT infrastructure library practices.
- Knowledge and experience in implementing obligations under regulatory requirements.
- Adaptable to a fast-growing and changing environment, with a strategic focus on process improvement.
- Ability to negotiate positive and cost-effective outcomes.
- Experience in preparing and maintaining budgets, including successful project delivery within budget and timeframes.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Positive and professional attitude, working well in team situations, with a genuine commitment to people and culture.
