IT Training Analyst

QLD state government organisation are seeking multiple IT Training Analysts

Your new company 

A leading and crucial QLD state government organisation are seeking multiple IT Training Analysts to work on the rollout of a state-wide SAP based workforce management program. This is to be used across the entirety of Queensland and will see you be based in either Townsville or Mackay.  

Your new role 

Established many years ago to service the needs of Queenslanders throughout the state from Coolangatta to the Torres Strait, this Brisbane headquartered organisation are undergoing several SAP based transformations. To assist them in these, they are expanding their state wide team to hire professionals in several regions to help and assist local sites during this technical transition whilst liaising with counterparts across the state (with travel if/when required).

Working within the Corporate Enterprise Solutions directorate and reporting to the Brisbane based Training & Learning Manager, you will work as part of the state-wide multi-disciplined Integrated Workforce Management team who are responsible for the successful rollout of SAP S/4HANA across localised regions.

As part of this team, you will be tasked with leading and planning the training actives for the soon to be rolled out SAP solution. More specifically you will ensure that before, during and after each technical milestone, all impacted stakeholders have been fully trained on how to use and work with every new piece technology (software, systems, processes, etc.). To do this you will create, develop and deliver training materials and workshops, coordinate change management strategy’s, enable the smooth and efficient transfer of knowledge, identify knowledge gaps, evaluate current training resources and processes, schedule training courses, etc. In conjunction with this, you will also engage with stakeholders of all levels across the state to ensure consistent high standards are abided by.

What you'll need to succeed 

For this role you will need experience across the following:

• Developing training materials
• Conducting training workshops (both practical and theoretical)
• Strong understanding of the use and benefits of IT in an enterprise environment 
• Change management activities
• Technical documentation
• Stakeholder engagement
• SAP and its ecosystem (S/4HANA, etc) advantageous
• Government (and health experience) advantageous
• Clear spoken and written communication skills
• Full Australian working rights

What you'll get in return 

You will be offered an initial fixed term contract until the 30th of June 2024 with a leading and crucial state government organisation. This is to be based in Townville or Mackay paying in line with AO6 (circa $115,000 - $125,000 base plus 12.75% super).
