We are seeking a Japanese-speaking Project Manager with experience in the Construction or Civil Engineering industry for our client with a significant presence in the global construction industry.
You will be responsible for end-to-end property development projects.
Understanding of Japanese business culture or work experience in a Japanese company is valued.
Description
The key responsibilities and duties of the role:
- Coordinate and manage property development.
- Contract administration and preparation of various documentation to report to management.
- Review and assess the feasibility and risks of each project.
- Stakeholder management including contractors, local councils, partners, and clients.
- Monitor the progress of projects to ensure the financial performance of the budget and cash flow are compliant with plans and agreements.
- Work collaboratively within the Japanese practice team
In order to be considered for this role you will have the following key attributes, skills and strengths:
- Native level of Japanese with written and verbal skills and fluent in English.
- Experience in the Construction or Civil Engineering industry.
- Project management or construction management experience is highly regarded.
- Budget management skills.
- Excellent communication skills and negotiation skills.
- Investment experience (property development/management, asset management) is an advantage.
- Understanding of Japanese business culture or work experience in a Japanese company is valued
