AddressThe role will carry out both manual (majority of the time) and automated script development & testing. It requires somebody that is self-motivated and resourceful, a keen problem solver who will enjoy learning about automation and building on our existing automation.
Key Accountabilities
- Document and implement test plans, test scripts and test cases
- Review acceptance criteria (i.e., behaviours) for accuracy, clarity, and completeness
- Extending and maintaining the regression test suite
- Performing manual tests, recording the results, and raising defects, maintain the defect management lifecycle using a collaborative defect tracking tool (e.g., JIRA, HP QC)
- Experienced/Knowledge in mobile/device testing browser and native apps
- Knowledge or experience in web accessibility testing
- Regression testing: Conduct regression testing to ensure that the identity integration services function correctly and authorised identities receive appropriate access without any associated risks.
- Solutions testing: Undertake Solutions testing by altering data used to verify the functionality of the inbound and outbound integration services. They will ensure that the rules and logic governing the data flow are correctly applied.
- Performance testing: Conduct performance testing to test the newly migrated identity platform's performance thoroughly. This testing is crucial to reduce the likelihood of future issues and ensure the system can handle the load.
- Compatibility testing: Ensure that the migrated components work in the latest platform and that new changes are incorporated seamlessly.
- Automation testing : Develop the automation script and framework to cover the functionality test
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of functional testing experience with various software delivery models such as agile
- Preferred experience in non-functional testing and automation
- Experience testing web applications, mobile apps, web services, integration, and back-end services
- Experience with API testing
- Experience with JBoss migration
- Knowledge of AD, IDM is desirable
- Work Collaboratively with project and test teams and other stakeholders to achieve best testing outcomes
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential
