About the role:
Reporting to the Manager Employment Pathways, NSW you will:
- Provide direct hands-on training and support to individuals within a workplace either individually or as part of a team.
- Participate in and deliver group-based capacity building training to groups of participants.
- Provide feedback to workplace supervisor on the progress of the participant against agreed upon job and task requirements relevant to the described tasks.
- Provide feedback to workplace supervisor on issues emerging within the work settings and adjust training strategies as appropriate.

About you – you will have:
- Previous experience in a relevant industry, service or an equivalent level of expertise and experience to undertake the range of activities required.
- Suitable to applicants with disability support worker experience
- Demonstrated ability to build strong and mutually beneficial relationships using advanced communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to provide community workplace hands on training.
- Intermediate problem solving, consultation and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Intermediate IT skills in word processing and email programs.
- Intermediate written and comprehension skills.
What is essential?
- A current unrestricted driver’s licence.
- The ability to travel to provide support as required.
- A current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- Provision of satisfactory National and International Police Check as required.
- Provision of Working with Vulnerable People registration.
