About the Role
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Joint Ventures Coordinator to join the Santos GLNG team, based at our offices in Brisbane. Reporting to the GLNG JV Senior Advisor, the GLNG JV Coordinator is a key role for coordinating all aspects of the GLNG joint venture that will:

• engage with external stakeholders such as the various joint venture coordinators and administrators in commercial and operational roles; and
• support the GLNG OPL Chief Executive Officer to maintain effective communication with the joint venture partners in a clear and transparent manner.

Under oversight by the Senior Advisor, the role performs the key integration function with the Santos Upstream Joint Venture team.
This position sits within the Company Secretary & Corporate division.
Key Responsibilities:

• Liaising and coordinating with the joint venture management teams to ensure the timely approval of all Circular Resolutions required under the GLNG JVA
• Coordinating and aligning JV communications with the Santos Upstream JV team
• Good governance by ensuring that the Operator complies with its duties, rights and obligations under the GLNG JVA by:

• administering the Operator's external engagement including the mandated meetings and issuing agenda, papers, minutes and actions
• coordinating the issue of mandated and additional reports and approvals, as required
• ensuring orderly JV access to information and property
• administering an orderly and compliant JV audit

• The secondary functions of this role are:

• maintaining the Secretariat Library (JV Portal)
• compilation and issuance of the JV Monthly Report
• compilation and issuance the JV Weekly Report

To be successful in the role you will have the ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels of the business. Manage the day-to-day office operations and ensure an effective, accessible and smooth functioning administrative environment. You will act as the key administrative contact for the leadership team to ensure a coordinated and cohesive leadership group is maintained at all times.
With this in mind, we are seeking an individual who possesses:

• Experience in external influencing roles such as company secretarial positions, procurement, or joint venture advisory.
• Experience interacting at an executive level with CEO, general counsel, board directors and operating committee members.
• Excellent writing and communications skills and experience in joint venture or company reporting.
• Diligence, being organised with attention to detail, ability to work collaboratively in a broad team environment, build relationships both internal and external to the business.
• Governance credentials or legal, engineering or finance support experience.
• Previous experience managing an office or equivalent experience managing a large professional team in a large business.
