Hermitage Thoroughbreds Pty Ltd is a boutique thoroughbred farm located in The Oaks, South-West Sydney. We are looking for a Junior Accounts Clerk/Administration Assistant to join our team starting on a Part-Time Basis, with possible view to Full-Time employment.
Working alongside with the Office Manager, this position would suit someone with 1-2 years of accounting and/or office experience.
You will have the opportunity to work on a diverse range of accounting and administrative tasks including but not limited to:
Key Accountabilities:
Accounts Payable
- Processing supplier invoices and payments into software; Ardex.
- Process mid-month and month-end bank reconciliations.
- Assisting creditors with account enquiries.
Accounts Receivable
- Processing debtor payments/receipts.
- Processing debtor invoices.
- Debt collection.
- Assisting debtors with account enquiries.
- General ad hoc accounting tasks as required.
Administration Assistant
- Handling all incoming calls- either redirecting calls or taking messages.
- Sorting and distributing incoming/outgoing mail.
- Ordering stationery and office consumables as required.
- General administration tasks.
The successful applicant will have:
- 1-2 years of accounting and/or office experience.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience using MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
- Works well in a team environment.
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.
