Job description

REQ Refrigeration and Air Conditioning is a family-owned business that is looking for a motivated, JuniorAdministration Assistant to join their team.  Working out of their commercial site in Port Adelaide, you will be joining a leading Company that values ethics and integrity, as it delivers quality solution to their clients. REQ are market leaders with Air Conditioning Installations, Servicing, and Repairs. 

Working closely with and mentored by the Operations Manager, you will thrive as the face of REQ Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.  The first point of contact for all inbound calls, you will handle their enquiry and coordinate the transition of these enquiries to bookings, and then scheduled with our technicians.  Your bubbly phone manner and ability to easily engage with others, will also assist with any outbound calls to our client base.

This fast-paced environment will benefit from your proactive, self-starter attitude, and confidence. You will be resilient by nature and enjoy being relied upon and have strong computer skills.

You’re meticulous and proud of your attention to detail, you get it, you understand the impact when it goes wrong.  You are team focussed, and love to support the team, and be an integral part of that team.

  • Current SA drivers’ licence.
  • Able to pick up new software (AroFlo) quickly.

Your typical day will involve some, or all the following;

  • The primary responder to all inbound and outbound phone call responsibilities.
  • Email management - responding, actioning, and filing.
  • Effective communication to clients, suppliers, contractors, staff, and other departments.
  • Raising jobs in AroFlo, update job status, upload documents and notes.
  • Assist with scheduling, rescheduling, and amending jobs as required in AroFlo.
  • Assist with the organising of the pickup or delivery of specialised equipment.
  • Ensure correct materials and part numbers are allocated to each job.
  • Assist with reporting.
  • Taking meeting minutes.
  • Assist with managing diaries and scheduling meetings.
  • Assist with monitoring and responding to Facebook enquiries.
  • Maintain a clean and safe workspace and abide by workplace health and safety policies and procedures.
  • General administration and housekeeping duties.
