Junior Administrator

AWI Steel Pty Ltd is a leading structural steel fabricator and installer, located in Silverwater. We work with Tier 1 contractors to create structural steel work for various sites around the Sydney Metro area.

We are looking for a Junior Admin to assist our quality assurance team, with an eye for detail and a passion for learning.

If you are new to the workforce and keen to join and support a high performing team in construction, then this may be the opportunity for you.

Role Description and Requirements

This is a varied role where you will be a part of a professional and supportive team. There is an opportunity to develop and expand your skillset with mentoring and training.

You will be involved in a range of tasks including:

• Collection and processing of quality documentation
• Providing support with company management systems
• Providing administrative support to SQE Supervisor
• Monitoring and saving emails, notes and/or meeting minutes
• Processing documents for weekly, monthly use
• Assisting wider team with administrative actions
• Attending company wide meetings
• Updating social media and website displays
• Archiving of folders and jobs

About You

You have initiative and the ability to support project deliverables.

You can take responsibility for a task and see it through and work well as an integral part of a small team.

To be successful in the role you will have:

• Customer service skills (Strong service orientation)
• Administration experience/ Adhoc capabilities 
• Team oriented approach
• Proficient MS Office Skills
• Excellent written and verbal english communication skills
• Show professionalism
• Excellent time management and work prioritization skill
• Ability to multi task and meet deadlines
• Self motivated and proactive
