What does the job look like?

Linfox is partnered with Australia’s leading Resources and Industrial companies, providing specialised logistics services across the country. We are seeking a Junior Commercial Analyst to provide commercial support and business insights that ensure we continue to provide quality service and operational efficiency in line with our contractual commitments. This role is initially available on a 6-month max-Term Contract with potential for permanency.

Working with a close-nit team of commercial specialists, you will provide commercial analysis, financial and quantitative reporting, system support and business improvement solutions that make a real impact to the balance sheet. This role has a focus on transactional review, ensuring the data accuracy is a reliable foundation for business decisions. Key areas;

Key areas:

• Transaction review, commercial and operational analysis and reporting
• Identification of variance to budget to support recovery and incremental revenue growth
• Develop process improvements to effect better operational and financial management
• Collaboration with various departments to facilitate consistency and execution of commercial deliverables
• Scoping, developing, automating and maintaining various reports for internal dissemination

Are you the one?

You have the ability to take initiative, a desire to achieve results, effective communication skills and the ability to manage diverse relationships. You can demonstrate:

• A hands-on and proactive style to support commercial management
• Analytical capability with exposure to modelling, data mining and summarising
• Business analytical experience through excel exposure
