You will be based on-site, working with a team that has delivered multiple projects for this business of similar nature.
Starting work as a Contract Administrator reporting to a project manager, doing take-offs, progress claims, RFI's, variations and letting contracts. You will see how the project is built, develop your building methodology, and gain knowledge of contracts. The salary on offer for this position is up to $100k.
The client is known for professionalism and delivering a quality product; they specialise in niche commercial projects. At times, they fly under the radar; the retention rates within the business are at 90%. The Directors have developed from similar positions within the business.
The business is financially stable, has partnered with some clients, and has a strong work pipeline. It's a good time to join the business, as it is in a growth phase, which means development opportunities for you.
The role is site-based in Ringwood, so you must be within a commutable distance. Are you located close by? Great, that's more time for you. The company's head office is in the CBD; you will need to be able to go there once a quarter for training, team catch-ups, and days out.
This is not a position where you will be trained in how to be a Contract Administrator; you will be building on one or two years of experience and have a degree or Diploma in construction or related.
