Due to this growth and several large-scale projects that Finance are expected to deliver, they are now seeking the support of a Junior Analyst into the Commercial Finance team.
The Role
The Junior Analyst role involves supporting four Senior Finance Business Partners across the Projects and Commercial areas of the business. Your key responsibilities in the role include:
- Maintenance of accounting processes through identifying vendor contract accruals, and facilitation of month end reporting.
- Review of contracts that are in place
- Analysis of accounting records, vendor contracts and management of the related payments, including invoice validation.
- Analysis of the spending profile of relative contracts
- Indirect management of transactional finance to ensure invoices are appropriately validated before they are approved for payment.
- Accrual accounting
- Assistance with month end reporting process and pulling together consolidations for month end,
The ideal candidate will have a high attention to detail, with a particular comfort and focus on building strong relationships with stakeholders internally and externally. You will also be capable of working autonomously, and completing tasks in a timely fashion.
This role would be ideally suited to an individual who has recently qualified (CA, CPA, CIMA) or is part-qualified.
