How It Will WorkWe are looking for an IT support technician responsible for technical support, software support, hardware support, network management, and administration for all our Sunshine Coast based customers. In addition to working closely with our Lead Technician, performing onsite break-fix repairs to customers' equipment is a major component of this job.
You may also be required to provide assistance to our call center in times of large volume, by scheduling technicians and following up with customer requests. This role offers a diverse range of responsibilities, providing an excellent opportunity for professional growth and skill development.
What You'll Do- Provide On-Site hardware repairs and support to our OEM’s customers on a range of Computer equipment.
- Complete repairs within contracted Customer Service Level Agreement’s (SLA's) with a high level of Customer Satisfaction.
- Assist with the service and installation of other IT / PC devices.
- Troubleshooting, diagnosis and repair on a variety of equipment which may extend to printers and MFD's and network equipment.
- Performing repairs for various OEM manufacturers.
- Manage allocated spare parts.
- Troubleshooting software and hardware issues.
- Reinstalling software and re imaging systems.
- Providing outstanding levels of customer service.
- Carry out other duties as may reasonably be required.
Successful candidates require;
- A+ certification or TAFE/University equivalent.
- Minimum of three years’ experience in repairing laptop/ tablet and desktop break fix.
- Good knowledge in MS software and configuration/installation including general knowledge of IT trouble shooting.
- Ability to test and certify PC’s, tablets and laptops.
- Strong analytical and problems solve skills.
- Able to operate independently, with minimum direct supervision.
- Excellent communication skills with strong customer focus as you will be communicating with wide range of clients.
- Good time management skills and able to complete tasks within a timeframe.
- Ability to follow and adhere to the internal and clients’ processes and procedures.
- Strong commitment to update Certifications as required by vendors.
- Flexibility to work across the Sunshine Coast as required.
- There may be times when you will be requested to assist our Brisbane and Gold Coast technicians.
- High attention to detail.
- A valid Australian driver's license
- Your own reliable, well-maintained vehicle
Experience
- Hands on Linux experience.
- Up-to-date Microsoft Certified Cloud or On-Premise style certification (MCSE)
- Web development skills and the ability to work with WordPress.
- Some sales experience would be desirable.
