- Fully qualified solicitor - Must have a current practicing certificate in the NSW Supreme Court and High Court of Australia
- Experience in a law firm is beneficial, but not a requirement
Tasks & responsibilities
- Attending to conferences with clients to take their instructions
- Drafting of court documents, affidavits, written submissions, representations to Police, etc.
- Attending Court for mentions, directions hearings, sentences and hearings
- Managing files from start to completion in in a variety of practice areas including criminal law, family law, care & protection, wills & estates, conveyancing and some civil matters
- Working in a team to facilitate the day to day functioning of a law office
