The Opportunity
As a Junior Project manager, you will deliver a small portfolio of projects across the spectrum of KBR’s business activities across transport, water and civil infrastructure, buildings, energy and industry facility assets. These may be new build, upgrades or investigative in nature. This position is an integral part of the local project leadership team, contributing to the broader Infrastructure Services business.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Design Management -
accountable to the successful project delivery of KBR’s contracted services to the client against all cost, time and quality objectives
schedule development and management for the project
working closely with the client to effectively manage expectations
liaising with a project team delivering infrastructure design outcomes (both internal KBR disciplines as well as external sub-consultant / joint venture / alliance partners)
Support Design Managers or Senior Project Managers on large complex projects where relevant
Demonstrate commitment to meeting the undertakings of KBR HSE and Quality Policies.
Proposal Leadership / Bid Delivery -
Help develop win strategies and proposal methodologies that support winning new business
Serves as a proposal manager for small projects and identify market opportunities.
Work with KBR counterparts on cross-business unit opportunities.
The ideal candidate will have;
A degree in engineering, science, construction or project management
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
minimum of 2-3 years of relevant project management experience, ideally in the infrastructure/construction/energy sectors delivering projects
