Crest Project Management is a dynamic consultancy that offers both Client-Side Project Management and Quantity Surveying Services to developers across a range of sectors, such as residential development, commercial, retail, hospitality, hotels, education and industrial.
Crest Project Management is based on the Gold Coast, undertaking projects throughout SE Queensland and Northern NSW with this project ideally suited to someone who is Gold Coast based and wants to work on site.
About the role
We are seeking an energetic and diligent Junior Project Manager with three to five years experience, to assist the Senior Project Manager on a new and exciting residential development at Biggera Waters on the Gold Coast.
The applicant must be experienced with the Procore system and will be responsible for management of documents on Procore and issuing to the various head contractors, with several different contracts underway concurrently including, building, civil, landscape and marinas.
The applicant will also assist with all the contract administration tasks and day to day operations of the projects, and should also be experienced with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Projects).
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of the Procore system set up specifically for this project
- Reading and interpreting plans and technical specifications
- Exceptional communication skills
- Aware of requirements for contract administration, such as : extension of time, variations, and progress claims
- Complete quality checks and site audits ensuring building works are to code and defect free
- Updating project documentation and company systems
- Continuous improvement of construction procedures and documentation
- Liaising with external consultants and authorities
- Liaising with clients and dealing with contractors
- Reporting to the Senior Project Manager and Director
About you
- Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction Management, Quantity Surveying or construction related degree
- Have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills
- Ability to read plans
- Can create & use spreadsheets proficiently
- Punctual and reliable
- Current and valid Driver's Licence
- Have effective time management and prioritisation skills with a focus on attention to detail
- Be self-motivated with strong work ethic
- Willingness to learn and take instruction
- Energetic, dynamic and across current trends
