ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director of Product Management, you will be assisting the engineering team by managing, coordinating, and overseeing project management activities. Key functions are as follows.
• Organise, direct, monitor and control project tasks across Request for Engineering Services (REQs and ESVs), Product Changes (PCR) and New Product Developments (NPD) projects
• Ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
• Develop project plans while tracking, resource planning, reporting, and communicating with key stakeholders across the business, identifying any roadblocks
• Proactively looking for opportunities and drive streamlining processes to support the business to work effectively & efficiently.
SKILLS & EXPEIRENCE
To be considered for this role, it is ESSENTIAL that you will bring the following skills.
• Certified PMP (Project Management Professional) or have completed tertiary education in the field
• Some experience within technical project management in an engineering or R&D environment, including hands on planning, resource management and reporting
• Worked in multiple projects concurrently, ideally using a stage-gate process
• Confident communication skills (able to present to management and international stakeholders) if required
• Enthusiasm and self-motivation, driven to achieve results
• Formal training in Project Management and experience with PM software (MS Project, Wrike or similar)
• While not essential, tertiary education in engineering, business or marketing would be well regarded
