About the role
We are currently seeking an experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our Kitchen.
We are looking for a creative, talented and passionate chef who will enhance our already phenomenal team with their own innovation and experience. Reporting to the Chef de Cuisine, this role assists in managing all aspects of food production, presentation and quality within our kitchens to the highest possible standard. Your primary focus will be food production together with staff management and training.
About you
- Relevant tertiary qualifications (Certificate III in Commercial Cookery)
- Previous experience in a fine dining / hatted restaurant environment
- Proven ability in delivering quality and consistency to the highest of standards
- Exceptional understanding of produce and gastronomic techniques
- Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexible availability (including weekends)
