PARKROYAL Parramatta are currently seeking a full time Junior Sous Chef to join our enthusiastic team. Reporting to the Head Chef, this is a great opportunity to work within a strong team to develop your career in a supportive, fun and customer focused environment.

Ideally you will have:

• A passion for food, and delivering a great experience to your guests
• The relevant trade qualifications, and the relevant matching experience
• A strong knowledge of HACCP compliance
• Strong leadership experience
• Al La Carte and high volume banqueting experience
• Food Handler Basics Training Certificate is essential
• Banquets Experience is Essential
• Certificate III or above in commercial cookery is essential.

You will be responsible for: 

• Driving the efficiency and profitability of the assigned kitchens.
• Supervise the work quality and quantity of the chefs and cooks within that section
• Ensure HACCP requirements are followed and maintained at a high level
• Maintaining a high level of communication within the kitchen to all F&B staff
• Promoting active OHS within the workplace
• Developing, motivating and coaching associates within the kitchen
