About The Role:
We have a full-time opportunity for a Junior Systems Assistant. In this role, you will work collaboratively with the Systems Manager in providing excellent administration support and actioning day-to-day IT tasks (hardware and software) on tier-one level.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Setting up New Starter/staff equipment.
- Setting up New Starter profile across all interstate offices.
- Intake of all IT requests and logging them appropriately (IT system / spreadsheet).
- Managing photocopier requests.
- Creating, formatting, editing and processing Template Documents via our Legal Software System.
- Designing and Producing flowcharts to quality standards via our Legal Software System.
- Undertaking ad-hoc firm related administrative tasks and reporting.
- Assisting the Systems Manager with in-house IT related tasks and projects as delegated.
- Participate in regular check-ins with the Systems Manager.
About You:
We are looking for a diligent, professional, proactive, driven and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude. You will maintain high quality work with exceptional attention to detail, have the ability to multi-task whilst meeting deadlines. Along with:
- 1 year of experience within a similar role / capacity and/or with relevant qualifications.
- Experience working with a ticketing system.
- Document formatting and proofreading skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating in a team environment.
- Heightened problem-solving skills.
- Experience with legal practice workflows and precedent (Desirable).
- Understanding of legal software (e.g. LEAP, Affinity, Practice Evolve etc.) (Desirable).
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic programming (Desirable).
- Working knowledge of publishing workflow from idea conception through to receipt by Requester (Desirable).
