ABG Accounting Group, a subsidiary of ABG Group, recently purchased the largest accounting firm in Wynnum, QLD. We are looking for an ambitious Junior Tax Manager to join our team, starting from part-time and progressing to full-time as quickly as you can. This is a unique opportunity for a talented individual to step into a role with the potential to evolve into a leadership position, taking over from the firm's current ex-partner (owner).
Key Responsibilities:
- Directly lead and manage a portfolio of diverse clients, ensuring the delivery of quality tax services in accordance with ABG Group's high standards.
- Navigate complex tax regulations to provide expert advice, helping clients minimise their tax liabilities while maintaining compliance with the law.
- Prepare financial statements and income tax returns for individuals, companies, trusts, self-managed superannuation funds, and partnerships.
- Assist clients with the compilation of financial and other information required to comply with the requirements of the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).
- Collaborate with the client's existing accountant or tax adviser, or alternatively, manage their tax affairs completely within the ABG Group.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Actively inform clients about the firm's comprehensive suite of services, which encompasses finance, financial planning & wealth management, and real estate, ensuring they can benefit from a holistic, full-stop solution tailored to their needs
- Keep up-to-date with the latest changes in tax legislation and regulations, ensuring that clients benefit from any new tax advantages and schemes
Candidate Profile:
- 3+ years of relevant experience in the field, including client-facing experience.
- Part CA/CPA/IPA qualified or currently undertaking certification.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to manage complex client groups.
- Self-driven with the capability to work autonomously.
- A collaborative team member with a strong commitment to collective success.
