Your role within the team
The person in this position plays a crucial role in how we engage with one of the largest retailers in the country and support in managing the business relationship with some of our smaller retailers.
Reporting to the National Business Manager, this person will play a key role in achieving our stated objectives and develop strong business fundamentals to set them up for future advancement.
Utilising their exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail, this person will support our Woolworths & Big WW team by analysing data, identify trends and providing actionable insights to drive sales growth. This person will gain cross-functional exposure and develop an understanding of how the broader business operates.
Key responsibilities include:
- Support the National Business Manager to develop and deliver the commercial plan for Woolworths, and other customers within channel. This includes:
- Promotional submissions and administration.
- Account performance analysis and reporting.
- Category Review preparation and analysis.
- Competitor analysis.
- Forecasting and demand planning.
- Claims processing and management.
- Support in Key Account Management of Emerging Customers - Big W, Travel Retail & TKMaxx:
- Support the business relationship and improve our ways of working.
- Support in the development of strategic account plans to deliver H&H growth ambition, creating value for each customer.
- Effectively manage portfolio ranging, promotional program, investment, and claims process.
Desired Skills and Experience

To make sure we’re setting new starters up for success, we ask that you meet a few criteria relevant to the role to be considered for this opportunity:
- Tertiary degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Commerce, Analytics, Marketing).
- Demonstrated commercial acumen with a relentless, proactive focus on growth and customer engagement.
- Intermediate level or above in the Microsoft Office suite and Power BI (or similar).
- Preference for experience in IQVIA and Quantium, or similar tools will also be considered.
- Demonstrated track record in effectively analysing and interpreting data, coupled with a proficient command of various data analytics tools and techniques. This includes expertise in but not limited to utilising tools like Excel, Power BI, IQVIA, and Quantium.
- Experience in customer engagement, strategy development, retail sales analysis, stakeholder management, inventory & claims management.
- Previous FMCG industry experience preferred.
