OPPORTUNITY
Due to the growth of Australian operations, our client is seeking a confident, capable and experienced Account Manager that can further develop existing client relationships and continue to build the client base. Working from home, in the office and out on the road, with travel of up to one week in every month out to Pilbara the ideal candidate will be able to work be both as part of a team and autonomously.
Working in conjunction with the Sales Team and Conveyor Belting Team, the incumbent will be responsible for meeting and exceeding the company sales targets by developing new business while servicing existing clients.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Develop new business and maintain existing relationships within the Perth area;
- Managing incoming business/jobs from start to finish through purchasing, supply and delivery including associated administrative task;
- Assist the Sales Team with tendering processes for large scale projects;
- Managing quote request and negotiations with current or potential clients;
- Manage existing contracts with key clients;
- Ensuring accurate and timely communications with all internal and external stakeholders;
- Provide technical advice to clients;
- Develop strategies to support growth within the business’s current clients;
- Work with a range of other team members to provide the right solution and advice to clients;
- Work with both on site based and head office staff.

- Base salary of up to $125,000 plus superannuation (11%)

CANDIDATE
To be considered for this role, B2B (business to business) sales experience is essential.
Ideally, your experience has been obtained in the Mining sector, dealing with a range of clientele (from Site Managers and Site Personnel to Procurement Managers). If you have proven experience selling to any and all of the well-known domestic or international mining asset owners, we would like to speak with you. You do NOT have to have any experience selling conveyor technology.
