About the Role
The role will be looking after our NIVEA brand portfolio within our Pharmacy business channel.
Specifically managing the Chemist Warehouse account in conjunction with both National & State Pharmacy Banner Groups associated via SIGMA Pharmacy Wholesaler through the use of efficient trade fund investment and category management principles.
This role is both a challenging and rewarding with your main responsibility being to achieve Beiersdorf sales objectives via distribution, shelf management, promotional program initiatives.
The responsibilities of the role will include, but are not limited to:
- Implement promotional programs to achieve budgeted sales targets.
- Oversee and manage Beiersdorf category portfolios within SIGMA Wholesaler Business and associated Retail Pharmacy Groups.
- Explore, negotiate and implement over & above commitments with the account.
- Present new lines to buyers.
- Work with the account to ensure all Beiersdorf products are presented in a manner to maximise shelf space and position according to RE and our Marketing Guidelines.
- Continually evaluate & review promotions conducted to ensure maximum effectives of trade funds.
- Effectively communicate priorities to the Head of Pharmacy, Senior National Business Manager Pharmacy & National Field Operations Manager.
- Provide leadership, account support & guidance to Business Manager across selected State Pharmacy Banner Groups associated to API/Symbion/SIGMA Wholesaler Pharmacy Business.
ABOUT YOU
- Preferably a Business degree qualification
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in FMCG
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Pharmacy/Grocery Account Management
- Experience in dealing at Head Office level with all major accounts
- Exposure and understanding of FMCG market data e.g. IRI/IQVIA
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Strong negotiating skills
- Advanced excel & computing skills
- Ability to work in a team environment as well as being a self-starter
