We are looking for a talented and experienced Account Manager to join our team. They are enthusiastic about what they do, someone who wishes to grow their career and is eager to take on new challenges, with a learning mindset. 

About the role:

As a Key Account Manager, you will oversee and govern the provision of client support services and client IT strategy. As a Key Account Manager, you will understand the requirements of your clients, their strategic business objectives, technical requirements, and deadlines and strive to deliver world class service whilst implementing improvements and ensuring profitability. You must be a master in networking with existing and prospective clients.

You will be managing our largest accounts and putting a strategy in place to grow and maximise the growth of these customers.  You will be a self-driven individual that can engage from the C-Level to the operational level of the business.

You will be involved in: 

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing sales strategies to drive revenue growth
  • Attending industry events and conferences to stay up-to-date on industry trends and new business opportunities
  • Demonstrating your commitment to building face-to-face client relationships by attending sites and understanding the clients’ business requirements 
  • Working alongside an operational technical team, dedicated to the delivery of technical services and improvements to our clients
  • Building a full understanding of our clients’ business requirements
  • Being the ‘go to’ person for all matters related to your client accounts
  • Writing proposals and negotiating contracts and pricing with clients
  • Achieving client and internal deadlines
  • Forecasting and tracking account metrics
  • Focusing on client satisfaction through impeccable client servicing, handling, and reporting

To thrive in this role, you will need to have: 

  • 3+ years of experience in account management or a similar IT sales role 
  • Proven track record of managing client relationships and driving revenue growth
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple clients simultaneously
  • Previous technical experience is advantageous
