We are growing our Kinder Inclusion team!  We have many opportunities across the Macedon Ranges region.

Noah’s Ark is a not-for-profit organisation providing Early Childhood Intervention and Inclusion Support services to children with disabilities and additional needs.

We are seeking applications from individuals who are interested in working as a KIS Additional Assistant in the Macedon Ranges region's local kindergartens as a member of the KIS program.

As a KIS Assistant your role will support the Kindergarten’s teaching staff to provide an environment that is responsive to the individual strengths, abilities, and interests of all children, including those with a disability, additional support needs and/or complex medical needs.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about making a difference in the lives of children within the community and having the flexibility of working casual hours.

Skills and experience relevant to the position:

• Ability to develop relationships with children that are supportive and responsive to their individual needs.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Understanding of and commitment to maintaining confidentiality and privacy
• Demonstrated ability to relate to others with kindness, respect, and positivity.

Demonstrated experience working with preschool children and/or in a preschool setting would be an advantage.

This is a casual position. Hourly wage is approximately $26.82 per hour plus 25% casual loading.
