With a state-of-the-art egg processing facility, we supply our premium eggs to over 250 Coles and Woolworths stores throughout Victoria. Our sheds are equipped with cutting-edge automation and remote monitoring technology, ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.

About the Role:
In this newly created role, we are seeking an Operations Manager to drive operational excellence and contribute to the continued success of Josh’s Rainbow Eggs.
Reporting into the CEO, this could be the role for you if you're looking for a vibrant operational leadership role in the agribusiness industry.
Duties include:
- Leading and managing farm operations to meet supplier requirements and ensure operational efficiency
- Developing and executing strategic plans to optimise operations, manage business risk, and meet customer satisfaction
- Oversee team performance through coaching, training, and regular performance reviews
- Ensure compliance with policies, regulations, and quality standards, maintaining a safe and healthy workplace environment
- Foster positive relationships with farm staff and internal stakeholders, resolving issues promptly and effectively
Skills and Experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and demonstrated experience in an operations role (experience in farming or agribusiness is essential)
- Ability to develop operational strategies, experience in budget development, and a proven track record of operational optimisation
- Aptitude for problem-solving, critical thinking, and Health & Safety requirements knowledge
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including building effective and high-performing teams and excellent influencing skills
- A proactive approach to seeking ways to improve the business, combined with practical written and verbal communication skills and a positive, get-it-done attitude
- A passion for producing food
