We are currently seeking an energetic and experienced Kitchen Steward to join the team in our busy kitchen- MINIMUM 6 MONTH COMMITMENT.
Position Overview:
The Kitchen Steward is responsible for the cleaning duties within the kitchen and food preparation areas, including the cleaning of cooking equipment and general utensils. Maintain a high level of workplace hygiene and safety in the kitchen and related areas. Assist with the assembly and preparation of ingredients for cooking as required.
The successful applicant must have experience in the following areas:
- Kitchen hand experience.
- Food safety certificate or ability to obtain.
- Knowledge of HACCP & experience with WH&S food safety policies and procedures.
- Demonstrate relevant food preparation and service knowledge.
- A Team Player - available to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays.
- Ability to work unsupervised with excellent time management skills.
- Employees whose duties include driving a company vehicle, must hold a current QLD Driver’s License.
