About the role

As a Community Development Officer - Grants, you'll play a vital role in bringing this vision to life. You'll have the opportunity to deliver impactful projects and administer our City’s grants program, making a real difference in the lives of our residents.
What you’ll do:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate projects that strengthen community connections and inclusivity.
- Engage with community members and organisations to promote and facilitate access to our grants program.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure grant recipients receive the support they need.
- Provide guidance and support to individuals and groups navigating our grants program.
- Offer insights and advice to management on grant and Community Development matters.
- Conduct research to understand and address community needs and trends.
- Work with other teams to align our efforts with the City’s strategic plans and initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- A passion for Community Development and social impact.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
- Organisational skills and attention to detail to effectively manage projects and grants.
- A collaborative mindset and willingness to work with cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Knowledge of Community Development principles and practices is a plus.
