Laboratory Assistant- Clinical Trials

Opportunity to join our growing team at our clinical research site in Brookvale on the beautiful Northern Beaches of Sydney

Qualifications & experience

• Previous work experience as a Laboratory Assistant and/or previous experience in a working laboratory 
• Current university science or medical qualification ideal, i.e. Biomedical science, Medical Science
• High level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable using computers
• Team player with a positive, can-do attitude

Tasks & responsibilities

• Handling and processing pathology samples such as blood, urine and swabs from participants on our Clinical Trials
• Preparing the samples for shipping and organising couriers to transport
• Asset management (cryogenic freezers and centrifuges)
• Working closely within a team of Clinical Research Coordinators, Nurses, Phlebotomists, Doctors and the Site Director
• Assist with other duties as required, e.g. data entry, calibration, equipment checks
