Your opportunity to join our team
The permanent Full-time Microbiology Lab Technician will work with a team as well as independently in the laboratory to undertake routine media preparation, sampling, and testing of food products. The position is based at our Lytton, QLD site.

Daily Tasks:
- Receiving of samples and deliveries to the Laboratory.
- Media preparation and quality control checks
- Ordering/Purchasing of stock for the Laboratory.
- Assist in routine testing and reporting.
- Ensure equipment and workspace is maintained and regularly kept clean.
You will bring to this role:
- Excellent Communication skills: the ability to respectfully engage with internal stakeholders (Lab team, QA, and Operations)
- High work ethic to work in a fast-paced environment
- Tertiary qualification
- Knowledge of GLP/GMP
- Strong collaborative skills: The ability to work with all departments and colleagues of varied backgrounds
- Quality-orientated and customer-focused
- Sound knowledge of aseptic technique
- Experience working in a NATA accredited laboratory beneficial but not essential.
