What is the opportunity?
Thomas Borthwick & Sons is seeking a full-time Laboratory Technician that demonstrates initiative and motivation to join our Quality Assurance team. Some of your responsibilities will include recording and analysing data and all aspects of microbial sampling, collecting, and testing.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for accurate and detailed record keeping and reporting. You will also efficiently write reports, reviews, and summaries and presenting results to senior staff.
What skills are we looking for?
- Capacity to work collaboratively within a team and independently without supervision
- Adherence to WHS and quality policies and procedures
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Effective time management skills
What experience are we looking for?
- Minimum 5 years in processing environment/Red Meat Industry
- Previous experience within the Food Processing Industry
- High school Certificate or equivalent recognised meat industry training
