ELISA Systems is a commercial manufacturing laboratory based in South East Queensland. 

Our primary business focus is the production of In Vitro Diagnostic Test Kits  for use in the Food Safety industry.

ELISA Systems has been operating for over twenty five years.

A vacancy exists for an experienced Laboratory Technician in our Production section. The position is Full-Time Monday to Friday consisting of a 76 hour fortnight and is available for an immediate start for the successful applicant.

To be successful in this role, you will have a flexible approach to your work, with the ability to work well both independently (unsupervised) and in a small team environment. 

You should have a demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise your workload and work methodically and efficiently to complete tasks on schedule.

The day-to-day aspect of the role will include a variety of tasks including :

• Production of reagents and components and assembly of Diagnostic Immunoassay test kits.
• Maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment
• General laboratory duties/maintenance.

• A suitable Degree or Diploma in Biological/Biochemical Sciences from a recognized Tertiary Institution.
• Demonstrated experience in a laboratory environment.
• Basic laboratory techniques: eg..pipetting, preparing solutions, using an analytical balance.
• Be able to follow documented procedures and communicate effectively. 
• Familiarity with a Quality Systems laboratory environment and ability to work in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Good computer literacy, including skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work well independently and in a small team environment.
• Immunoassay production and development.
