Current Opening:
This is a full-time position, 38 hours per week.
Position Responsibilities and Tasks:
- Conduct economic analysis of land, property markets, and commercial leases, contributing to the company's strategic planning and policy advice.
- Evaluate investment proposals and examine factors affecting land use.
- Develop economic guidelines and standards and prepare reports on the economic impact of land use and development.
- Provide expert valuation and planning advice, particularly for property acquisitions and portfolio management.
- Collaborate with urban planners, developers, architects, and the management team to align economic strategies with business goals.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding property development and land use.
Qualifications and Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in commerce, urban planning, or a related field;
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in land economics, property market analysis, or a similar role.
- Strong proficiency in statistical analysis software and MS Office Suite.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a proven track record of explaining complex information clearly and effectively.
- A business management background may be considered, especially with relevant experience in economics, finance, real estate, or urban planning.
Salary:
The role offers a remuneration package of $100,000 plus superannuation, based on a 38-hour work week.
